Description

Tenant Manager Console

The Tenant Manager Console is the central hub for Tenant Managers to oversee and manage worlds, licenses, and resource usage within their tenant. This console comprises two main pages: Tenant and License and Data. Together, these sections provide Tenant Managers with the tools to manage virtual environments, user roles, license details, and storage limits effectively.

Tenant Page

The Tenant page allows the Tenant Manager to view, create, edit, and delete worlds within the tenant. Key features include:

  • World List: A searchable list displaying all worlds in the tenant, each with basic details such as ID, label, and description. Tenant Managers can edit or delete worlds directly from this list.
  • Creating and Editing Worlds: Tenant Managers can create new worlds by providing a label, description, thumbnail URI, and logo URI. They can also set the world as online at the time of creation or later during editing.
  • Ownership Flag: By enabling the Ownership flag, the Tenant Manager automatically becomes the Owner of the new world, gaining additional permissions for managing that world.
  • User Role Assignment: After creating a world, a dedicated section appears for assigning user roles within that world. Tenant Managers can designate users as Members or Owners, controlling access and management privileges.

License and Data Page

The License and Data page provides essential insights into the tenant’s license status and data usage, helping Tenant Managers monitor resource consumption and license validity. This page includes:

  • License Expiration Date: Displays the expiration date of the tenant’s license, allowing Tenant Managers to manage renewals proactively.
  • Concurrent User Limit: Shows the maximum number of users allowed on the platform at the same time.
  • Storage Usage:
    • Media Files: Indicates the amount of storage used for media files out of the total available capacity.
    • Environments: Displays the number of environments uploaded and the storage consumed out of the total space allocated.
  • Product Version: The current version of the platform is shown at the bottom of the page, ensuring Tenant Managers are aware of the software version in use.

The Tenant Manager Console empowers Tenant Managers to efficiently manage virtual worlds, monitor storage limits, and stay informed about their license status, ensuring an optimized and well-regulated environment for users within the tenant.
